The first students of the mine engineering department were admitted in February 2005. At present, 132 students are studying in this field. The group has laboratory facilities such as rock mechanics, mineral processing, mineral exploration (mineralogy, petrology, etc.), cartography, mapping and land surveying to develop educational and research activities. Training in various specialized fields of mining engineering and carrying out applied research in the fields of exploration, extraction and processing of minerals is one of the main goals of this training group. In addition, the Mineral-Gohar Exhibition Center and the Center for the Precious Stone Stones in Entrepreneurship are active for students.
