According to the Public Relations Office of University of Sistan and Baluchestan: In line with expanding scientific and international collaborations, following the meeting of the Center for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, University of Sistan and Baluchestan has been selected as one of 22 Iranian universities to join the BRICS Universities Network.
This network, comprising leading universities from BRICS member states (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and partner countries, serves as a significant platform for student and faculty exchange, joint research projects, and enhancing universities' international standing.
Dr. Gholamreza Rezaei, President of University of Sistan and Baluchestan, expressed his delight at this opportunity, describing it as an important step toward the university's internationalization and a unique opportunity for students and faculty members. He emphasized:
"Membership in this network will enable collaboration with prestigious academic institutions worldwide and play an effective role in developing education, research, and innovation in Sistan and Baluchestan Province."
